At Masai we've always loved viscose. The beautiful fabric that is known for its silk-like feel, flattering draping and breathable feature. Viscose is the backbone of the Masai collections and accounts for 60% of our collections. Therefore, we want to make sure that the way we source and produce viscose is done thoughtfully.

As the first fashion company in the world Masai was FSC®-certified in 2019 (FSC® C152037). With our FSC-certified viscose styles, we know that the wood fibers in our viscose come from sustainable, well-managed forests and other controlled sources. As we always strive to find ways to do even better, we’ve now also converted a large part of our viscose into Livaeco by Birla Cellulose and LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibers. The production methods for these fibers are pro-planet and help save water and reduce CO2 emissions.
